Anybody out there?
I haven't said a damn thing on here in a very long time. So long in fact, I suppose I might not have any friends in LJ land. Well anyhoo I am going to post a picture in case anyone still reads this...and maybe for some reason forgot what I looked like. Current Mood: giddy | | Sunday, June 19th, 2005 | | 6:30 pm |
Alaska, Canada, Utah, Minnesota, Idaho, and Montana
This summer has been amazing. All I have accomplished since graduation has been nothing. I went on a cruise to Alaska and Canada at the end of May and I just got back from Montana (Utah, Minnesota, and Idaho) yesterday. My dad keeps yelling at me to get my resume together and find a job and the sad thing is...I keep telling him that I will when I find time...but I have had my resume together almost a year. I just am not quite ready to enter the world of "grown-up." My cousin called to say that she got engaged over the weekend and a tinge of bitterness and jealousy washed over me. She graduated from Texas A&M a few years ago and then decided that she wanted to go to culinary school. She hasn't worked a day in her life and now she is engaged. Is it so bad that I want her life? Today on the way to Wal-mart my mom looked me straight in the eyes and said "Meredith...I'm not trying to hurt your feelings and I don't want you to take this the wrong way BUT you need to get a job." I just looked at her and said "but I don't wanna. I don't wanna be a grown-up." And that is exactly how I feel. I just wanna hang out with my best friend and enjoy the time that I have left. Graduating from college blows. But on a lighter note, while I was in Montana, my brother-in-law took me flyfishing. I caught a decently sized brown trout. I also got to see my 2 month old niece and my 2 1/2 year old nephew. I had a great time and actually enjoyed being around children. Thursday I leave for Texas with my momma to see my grandma and some of my other family. Then July 11 we leave for our other cruise. | | Sunday, May 8th, 2005 | | 1:40 pm |
Schoolyard Bully You are 28% Rational, 85% Extroverted, 85% Brutal, and 42% Arrogant. |
You are the Schoolyard Bully! You focus more on feelings than rationality, and thus tend to be driven by your emotions. You are probably easy to anger or annoy, for instance. You are also an extrovert who wouldn't mind having a lot of attention, although you may not always get it. Another character trait you possess is your brutality, manifested by the fact that you tend to be aggressive and do not care about the well-being of others. Also, you exhibit signs of humility, leading one to conlude that you are actually insecure, because very few people are truly humble AND brutal. Thus, like any schoolyard bully, you seek constant attention for yourself and have no issues with administering beatings because you are quite emotional and easy to upset. Not only that, but your insecurity may be a prime motivation for your brutality. As psychologists have noted, most schoolyard bullies only pick on others because they have a negative self-image. This could possibly be true of you. In short, your personality defects are your brutality, extroversion, irrationality, and your possible insecurity. Go pick on someone your own size!
To put it less negatively:
1. You are more INTUITIVE than rational.
2. You are more EXTROVERTED than introverted.
3. You are more BRUTAL than gentle.
4. You are more HUMBLE than arrogant.
Compatibility:
Your exact opposite is the Haughty Intellectual. (Bullies like to beat up nerds, after all.)
Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Bitch-Slap, the Capitalist Pig, and the Class Clown.

If you scored near fifty percent for a certain trait (42%-58%), you could very well go either way. For example, someone with 42% Extroversion is slightly leaning towards being an introvert, but is close enough to being an extrovert to be classified that way as well. Below is a list of the other personality types so that you can determine which other possible categories you may fill if you scored near fifty percent for certain traits.
The other personality types:
The Emo Kid: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.
The Starving Artist: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.
The Bitch-Slap: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.
The Brute: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.
The Hippie: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.
The Televangelist: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.
The Schoolyard Bully: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

Maybe those who say "fuck america" and "i'm not proud to be an american" need to be reminded of some things: check this out: http://www.usconstitution.net/**there is even a children's version if you want to skip all the "big words" i really hope this gets passed: http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a3942c9192a39.htmhttp://hcps2.hanover.k12.va.us/lms/liberty%20bill/libbill.htm**i think some people need a constant reminder of how great it really is to be an american. http://www.collincoinclub.com/itemsofinterest/libertybill.htmthose who are upset that their candidate did not win should not be mad at anyone but their candidate---don't blame those who voted for the other side. don't blame america. i couldnt be prouder to be an american (and not just because Bush won)! my dad was in the military for over 20 years, i have friends and extended family also in the military....**what makes me so sad is that my friends and family are the ones who fight and die so that ungrateful, unpatriotic americans can complain about how "fucked up" america is. who wouldnt want to live in a country where: i have the right to voice my opinion (no matter how small my voice is) i have the right to vote i have the right to be the kind of person i want to be. well is seems like we have some unappreciative people around here and that saddens me. | | Friday, October 29th, 2004 | | 6:28 am |
the funny thing is...
"Ask me 3 questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want, and I will answer truthfully and fully. Then I want you to go to your journal, and copy and paste this, allowing your friends (including me) to ask you anything." ty--i expect even less people to ask me questions...so booya.
